A dream come true
The young DIEGALE Winery, envisioned and founded by Alessandro and Paola, was established in 2008 in Civitella Marittima (GR), at Podere Sant’Antimo, nestled in the rolling hills of the Tuscan Maremma.
The agricultural company extends from 120 meters above sea level, at the border with the Lanzo stream, to 280 meters above sea level across approximately 40 hectares with an exposure and soil nature unquestionably suited to vine cultivation, within the DOCG of Montecucco.
The agronomic and oenological evaluations are shared and validated by our friends Dr. Agr. Mauro Nosi and Oenologist Fabrizio Moltard.
The panorama is equally beautiful and evocative with views from Casal di Pari to Campagnatico passing through Monte Antico, Sant’Angelo (Montalcino), Monte Amiata and Montecucco.
The climate is surprisingly mild and strongly influenced by the air currents of the valley, which is affected by the thermal variations that form between the inland and the sea (optimal thermal excursion).

A Dream Come True
Starting from nothing and creating something that respects the environment and enhances it, we believe, is the greatest source of satisfaction and happiness for mankind.
This, in a few words, is what Paola and I have tried to do by creating an agricultural company in our Tuscany, land of fine wines.
Producing good wine is certainly ambitious but, with the conviction of doing so with dedication and in the utmost respect for what the land can give us and the seasons can offer us, it will nonetheless be a success of authenticity.
And it is precisely from this deep bond with our family that DIEGALE was born: a name that unites our first two grandchildren, Diego and Alessandro, becoming the beating heart of our company.
But we did not stop there: our bubbles, sparkling and full of life, bear the names of Oscar and Dario, the other two wonderful grandchildren to whom we wanted to dedicate a special toast.
